Here's a picture that my sister sent me. My nephew is wrapped snugly in his fleece blanket gazing out at the snow. It's a perfect representation of what I miss...my family and a cold, snowy Christmas in Wisconsin. I think that it's the perfect picture for my holiday message.
So, wherever you are and whatever your weather is like, I want to wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas!
merry christmas cheryl, to you and your family
ReplyDeletehoping for a good one next year!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo, it's a hard time if you are away from your family. Hope you and your family had a wonderful time, children really make Christmas, don't they?
ReplyDeleteWe'll be celebrating with my daughter and her fiance!! tomorrow. We're so excited. They both live in Saudi so we don't get to see them very often
hi cheryl, thanks for your heart-warming comments on my blog. i must admit we dont often use the broccoli-pasta combination often in our home, only because we never grew it ourselves till this year, and my hubby's more of a red sauce eater. but i think i've never tasted a better combination of broccoli cheese and pasta like the one i made recently.
ReplyDeleteglad you liked the fasolada - blame my husband if you think i cook it well; food in this house is usually cooked according to his tastes!
Maria, Thank you! We can only hope for better in 2009!
ReplyDeleteAnd, you're welcome! I love your recipes. You're husband has great taste!
John D, Thank you! Epises! I'll have to admit that Greece is definitely much better in the summer, we're freezing over here too! :)
Mel, Thank you! I hope that you had a nice Christmas too! My sister received a new camera for her birthday and is taking really great pics. I do love this one. It's classic.
Phivos....THANK YOU!! I wish the same to you and your family!! Hope that you're having fun!
Rositta, Thank you! I see that you had a nice Christmas aside from your illness. I hope that you feel better. And hey, thanks for sending some snow over to Kozani...the kids loved it!!
Jude, Yes! I agree...children make Christmas. It is hard for me to be so far away. It's easier knowing that everyone else is healthy and happy. I hope that you're enjoying your visit with your daughter and your future son-in-law! Have a glass of wine for me!
