Today I'm posting a photo of a beautiful pomegranate blossom in loving memory of my koumbaro, Dimitri. In autumn, when the trees were ripe with pomegranates he would come over and fill up a few bags of them in order to take with him on his fishing vessel. We lost him six months ago today.
My ongoing condolences. It hurts. One could, however, do worse than the pomegranate as a totem/memorial flower.
ReplyDeleteSyd, thank you. I know that my koumbara will appreciate the pomegranate blossom as
ReplyDeleteshe mentions his love for our trees(in particular) often.
It's good to hear from you:)
