Good morning from Greece!

What a welcome surprise! We woke up with snow this morning! Kosta returned from Milwaukee this week where they've had a lot of snow already so we thank him for bringing some along for us. The sun had barely risen before the kids threw on their coats to run outside to play in the new fallen snow. We love it!

  1. You have more snow than we do in Alaska right now!

  3. Don't take this the wrong way, as you're obviously pleased - but that just looks awful!

    *doesn't like snow*

  4. Laurie-the snow is already gone but it's really a lot colder than I expected it to be. I think that it should only be this cold if you have snow! I can't imagine you not having snow in Alaska at this time of year! But then again, I've never been to Alaska. :)

Syd-Not taking it wrong at all. My best friend absolutely hates snow and she's in Wisconsin where they've been pounded with it this month. I've always loved it and never complained about it. Anyway, like I told Laurie, it's gone already. The previous owner of this house says that it hadn't snowed here in years so this may be it for a while. We'll just have to wait and see.

  5. It's so much easier to enjoy when you know it's going soon. Did Gigi love it? I'll bet her hair was a mess! Geena loves cold, windy weather - but I've never seen her in snow.

  6. Gigi loved the snow! She kept sticking her nose in it and rolled around a bit. Her hair was a mess, I think that it always is...except after a bath. She doesn't like the cold though. This morning she went outside to conduct her business and only went as far as the balcony instead of the grass. I was thrilled. But-she's come a long way in the potty dept.

  7. Adorable photos of the kids and Gigi all mussed with snow.

I think snow can be fun, even though I'm from California. But after 3 winters in New York, day in and day out, it can get a bit tiring. I suppose it's what you're used to. Me, I'm kinda glad those bulky coats and layers haven't come out but I know my fiance would love snow. He's convinced it's cold in Athens. I've assured him he ain't felt nothing yet!

Glad to hear Gigi is making progress for your sake ;)
