Snow Day

Freezing temperatures and snow on Thursday meant school was closed. I wasn't aware of it until I attempted to drop the kids off, a lot of us parents were surprised. Given that I grew up in the state of Wisconsin, this wasn't a lot of snow in my opinion. But, it doesn't snow here very often and the roads were very icy so I understand why things had to be shut down. Before going home I took the kids for a scenic drive in our warm & toasty car because I had to take photos, you know.

Enjoy.

Have a nice weekend.

Καλό Σαββατοκύριακο!

  5. cheryl -- my son goes to school in wisconsin and i grew up in minnesota so i can empathize with your being used to this kind of weather!!

but what amazing fotos.......especially the ones of the freezing geese and chicken!!! i understand that need to go out and take some shots of the snow -- after all, how often does that happen in greece?!

    have a great weekend!!

  6. What fantastic photos. I love the beach ones, a seashell held by a snow dusted glove. :)
School has been out here for the past two days...no snow, just a little "black ice." The children are rejoicing because it appears the Christmas break is effectively underway, with these past two extra days setting the start.
    Have a great weekend, Cheryl.

  7. @ Krisno...Thank you. I hope you're doing well! :)

@ Amanda...Thank you for the compliment! So given the you're familiar with the midwest, you know why I loved this, driving was a breeze for me- especially since there was virtually no one else on the roads.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend too!!
    Thank you!

@ Biddy...Hi Biddy! Thank you, I'm glad that you enjoyed the photos. I'm sure the children are excited, it's always great to see the light in their expressions at this time of year.
I hope you're enjoying the season & keeping warm. Have a wonderful weekend!:)
