Yesterday, as I was ready to sniff the lilacs I spotted this little bee. It was literally rolling around the leaf with the lilac as if in euphoria. Very cute...unless it was dying of a lilac overdose.
Oh, what a beautiful photo! Doesn't it seem like spring just BOOM happens all of a sudden, and everyone and everything is suddenly euphoric? What a trip ...
Thank you Mimi. I agree, spring does seem to suddenly happen. I've really been enjoying this -what seems to be- the longest spring that I've experienced. As I'm from Wisconsin, it's a nice change.
Anonymous-Thank you. Porn? Hmmm...never crossed my mind. If there's a market for bug porn, my yard is full of action. Maybe I could make a few bucks. Thanks for the laugh, I needed it.
Laurie-Thank you! Glad you like the picture. Please refer to the above response for my thought's on bug porn. What do you think? :)
Kat- I'm glad that I said that I mentioned what the bee was doing...some people have dirty minds! I loved that, honestly-it's funny. Made me laugh!
Although I'm not here with the blog as much as I used to be, I'm still out taking photos of everything and now I'm addicted to Instagram...so follow ccingreece if you want to see what I'm up to!

Mucha gente entra en y sale de su vida a lo largo de los años. Pero solo los verdaderos amigos dejan huellas en su corazón...
Welcome!
I've been married to my Greek husband for 23 years and we have 3 children ages 10 & under. 6 years ago, we moved to Greece and I started this blog so that my family & friends at home could keep up with what we're doing. Remarkably, this blog has taken a life of its own and I've come to know some pretty amazing people so it's more than just a blog about my family, it's about sharing my experience with anyone that's interested in my frequent musings & photographs. Enjoy! :)

I love it! When I see them absolutely covered in pollen, the phrase "happy as a pig in mud" always comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteWonder what lilac honey is like.
Thanks Syd. I know, I can only imagine what honey from a lilac would taste like. Probably just as heavenly as it smells.

ReplyDeleteNice Pic. That is almost pornographic!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the picture and agree with anonymous that it's verging on porn.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you said what it was doing because for a second I thought the lilac fell and it was dying...and not of happiness.
ReplyDeleteI think it's adorable. What a great photo! :)
