Philip-I know, picking olives is therapeutic in a way. But-the kids don't want to help much after the third time around!
Maria, I'm trying to get as many as I can before they all fall to the ground. We have so many more than last year. I am picking an hour here...1/2 hour there...whenever the opportunity arises. Have fun picking yours!
BTW...my pethera was in Crete 2 weeks ago and she brought us some of your local specialties...
We had a chance to visit with Kosta the other night. He came over for a beer and gave the girls gifts from this visit and last. They love it all. We enjoyed Kosta, but missed seeing you and the kiddos. It looks like you are living a critter filled life! Enjoy! Stay well and peace!
Hey 2 Bears! I'm glad that the girls liked there gifts! I enjoyed talking with you the other day...as always. I hope that soon I can be there to have a beer with you guys!!!! Mucha gente entra en y sale de su vida a lo largo de los años. Pero solo los verdaderos amigos dejan huellas en su corazón...
Welcome!
I've been married to my Greek husband for 23 years and we have 3 children ages 10 & under. 6 years ago, we moved to Greece and I started this blog so that my family & friends at home could keep up with what we're doing. Remarkably, this blog has taken a life of its own and I've come to know some pretty amazing people so it's more than just a blog about my family, it's about sharing my experience with anyone that's interested in my frequent musings & photographs. Enjoy! :)
