Cheryl, It seems so exciting and fun from your pictures! I have only been to one carnival in Greece and that was in Patra, I still have my small carnival hat that my husband bought me, I pull it out ever year for carnival! But it really can't compare to how you guys celebrated! It really looks like you guys had a great time, I love the look on Kosta's as he dances to the clarenet.
Hi Cheryl, What a party! Have you caught up on your sleep? I'm sure the kids loved dressing up, do they get to wear their costumes year round? Frankie loves to dress up, hats, shoes, watches, purses, anything that's ours. Take care, Angela
Belpana, we did have a great time. It's one thing that's here that can't be compared to anywhere else. What I find the most enjoyable about the events here is that everyone is just out to have a great time...there isn't any animosity on the streets which is very refreshing. You have next year to look forward to!
Angela, Yes...quite a party. It took me about 3 days to feel better because I like my sleep! My kids do dress up whenever they want- which seems almost daily. Izabella wore 4 different costumes for this season at various events. She was Belle, Madonna, a Native American and a ladybug. Foti was a Power Ranger, Anakin Skywalker and a Native American. Alexandra only wore 2...a ladybug and Little Red Riding hood. A lot of fun!
BTW....the photo that I took at 7:30 in the morning was taken during one of Gigi's early morning walks...I hadn't gone out the night before. It was Sunday when I stayed out all night!
Although I'm not here with the blog as much as I used to be, I'm still out taking photos of everything and now I'm addicted to Instagram...so follow ccingreece if you want to see what I'm up to!

Mucha gente entra en y sale de su vida a lo largo de los años. Pero solo los verdaderos amigos dejan huellas en su corazón...
Welcome!
I've been married to my Greek husband for 23 years and we have 3 children ages 10 & under. 6 years ago, we moved to Greece and I started this blog so that my family & friends at home could keep up with what we're doing. Remarkably, this blog has taken a life of its own and I've come to know some pretty amazing people so it's more than just a blog about my family, it's about sharing my experience with anyone that's interested in my frequent musings & photographs. Enjoy! :)
