I'm so impressed by people who can identify plants, trees, and flowers. My mom was really into all that yet somehow I don't know how to identify anything. I just point and go "ooooo pretty!!!"
My brother-in-law planted what is supposed to be an almond tree outside our driveway, so maybe at least I'll be able to recognize that!
Mel-honestly, most of the trees look the same to me. Some of them are easier to identify than others-like the almond tree that still has a few shells here and there. I can identify the rest based actually seeing the fruit last year or I probably would be lost. There are still one or two mystery trees out there as they're still to young to have produced anything.
Peachy- Welcome to the blog! I know, you guys have had a really, really harsh winter. I guess the 2nd highest snow levels in recorded history? I hope that things thaw out soon! BTW-I love and miss Chicago!
Although I'm not here with the blog as much as I used to be, I'm still out taking photos of everything and now I'm addicted to Instagram...so follow ccingreece if you want to see what I'm up to!

Mucha gente entra en y sale de su vida a lo largo de los años. Pero solo los verdaderos amigos dejan huellas en su corazón...
Welcome!
I've been married to my Greek husband for 23 years and we have 3 children ages 10 & under. 6 years ago, we moved to Greece and I started this blog so that my family & friends at home could keep up with what we're doing. Remarkably, this blog has taken a life of its own and I've come to know some pretty amazing people so it's more than just a blog about my family, it's about sharing my experience with anyone that's interested in my frequent musings & photographs. Enjoy! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous. I am so tired of winter in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the snow and cold has stopped.
